What are lost bike fees?

The safety of your rented bike is your liability during (and in some case after the end of your) rental.
A lost bike fee is charged if we cannot find the bike you rented 30 days after it went missing in one of the following cases:

1. Your bike disappeared during your ongoing rental.

2. You did not end the rental correctly in a drop-off location, with connection to the lock, and the lock locked.

If you choose not to add vehicle theft insurance to your rental, you'll have to cover the cost of the vehicle in the event that it gets stolen.
Lost bike fee without theft insurance:
Mechanical bike: Up to 900 EUR / vehicle
E-bike: Up to 2,000 EUR / vehicle
Cargo bike: Up to 2,000 EUR / vehicle
E-Cargo bike: Up to 4,000 EUR / vehicle
Lost bike fee with theft insurance:
Mechanical bike: Up to 50 EUR / vehicle
E-bike: Up to 100 EUR / vehicle
Cargo bike: Up to 100 EUR / vehicle
E-Cargo bike: Up to 200 EUR / vehicle
