How do I use a chain lock to secure the bike?

• Some of our bikes come with a chain lock.
  
  
• Please use the chain lock to secure the bike by looping the chain to a bike rack or a city street fixture
  
  
• Some cities have strict local laws and bikes can only be parked and locked to a bike rack.

How to unlock the chain lock

• Tap "Unlock" in the app. The rear wheel lock will automatically unlock, but you will need to pull one of the sides of the chain lock out. 

How to lock the chain lock 

• Tap "Lock" in the app.
  
  
• Push the chain lock end into the hole on the side of the wheel lock.
  
  
• Slide the orange handle down.
