Can I take the bike outside of the city or operating area?
No, you must keep the bike within its designated operating area. While you are free to explore the city, the bike must be returned to a drop-off location in the same city where your rental began.
1. How to find the "Operating Area"
The operating area is defined by the available drop-off locations for your specific bike. To see the boundaries:
Tap an orange bike symbol on the map.
Tap the "Drop-offs" label in the top-left corner.
The map will display all valid return hubs; this area represents your allowed riding zone.
2. Rules for Breaks and Parking
Intermediate Stops: You do not need to park at a hub during your rental. You can park anywhere as long as you use the "Stopover/Lock" feature in the app.
Local Restrictions: Some cities (like Amsterdam) have strict parking laws. Always use designated bike racks where required to avoid the city impounding the bike.
⚠️ Consequences of Leaving the Area
Relocation Fees: If a bike is left outside the operating area, you will be charged a relocation fee to cover the cost of recovery.
No Roadside Assistance: We cannot provide technical support or assistance for bike issues occurring outside the service zone.
