Using the Chain Lock

Select bikes include an integrated chain lock for added security. Always use the chain to secure the bike to a fixed object, such as a bike rack or street fixture.

📍 Local Parking Regulations

• Check local laws: In some cities, such as Barcelona, bikes must be locked to a designated bike rack. Failure to do so may result in fines.

🔓 How to Unlock

1. App Command: Tap "Unlock" in the app.

2. Mechanical Action: Once the rear wheel lock clicks open, manually pull one end of the chain out of the locking mechanism.

🔒 How to Lock

1. App Command: Tap "Lock" in the app.

2. Secure the Chain: Wrap the chain around a fixed object and push the pin end into the hole on the side of the wheel lock.

3. Engage the Lock: Slide the orange handle down to secure both the wheel and the chain
