Troubleshooting Payment Method Issues
If you are having trouble adding or updating a payment method (Credit Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay), please follow this technical checklist to ensure a secure connection.
🛠️ Connection Checklist
Update the App: Ensure you are running the latest version of the app. Old versions may lack updated security patches required by payment providers.
Switch to Mobile Data: Turn off Wi-Fi and use your 4G/5G connection. Public Wi-Fi networks often have firewalls that interfere with banking transactions.
Disable VPNs: Turn off any VPN apps or "Privacy Relay" settings. Payment processors often block transactions that appear to come from masked IP addresses for fraud prevention.
🔐 Security & Verification
Complete 2FA: Keep your banking app open or stay ready to receive an SMS. You must complete all 2-step verification (3D Secure) prompts required by your bank to authorize the new payment method.
Pre-Authorization: Ensure your card is authorized for international or online transactions if you are traveling.
