How do I find and unlock my rental bike?

Once you have confirmed your rental in the app, follow these steps to locate your vehicle and start your trip:

1. Navigate to the Pick-up Location

Tap your active rental in the Donkey Republic app to see its exact location. You can use the in-app map to get walking directions directly to the bike.

2. Match the Bike Name

To ensure you are at the correct vehicle, check the bike name (e.g., "Donkey 123") displayed in your app. It must match the name printed on the phone holder of the bike.

3. Unlock via Bluetooth

Stand within 1 meter of the bike and ensure your phone's Bluetooth is turned on. Tap the "Unlock" button in the app.

• Note: The lock will click open automatically once the Bluetooth connection is established.

4. Start Your Session

If the lock does not open immediately, check your phone's signal and ensure you are standing close to the rear wheel where the lock is located.
