How to end a rental without the bike?

 You can always end your rental yourself, even when you're not with the bike.

Follow these steps to end your rental without the bike:

 

1. Make sure you're at least 30 meters away from the bike.

 

2. Tap on "End rental".

 

3. The app will try to connect to the bike lock, and then ask you if you are with the bike.

 

4. When you press "No" it will ask you to pinpoint the exact bike location and then confirm your rental is ended.
 

Ending the rental without the bike does not end your liability for the bikes safety, this will only end once the bike is found safely where you indicated you left it.

When in doubt if you locked the bike at a drop-off location we would always advise to go back to the bike and end the rental correctly while next to the bike!
