Why did a drop-off location disappear from the map?
If a drop-off location was previously visible but has disappeared, it is usually because the station has reached its maximum parking capacity.
📉 Reasons for a "Missing" Station:
Drop-off is Full: To prevent overcrowding, once a drop-off reaches its bike limit, it automatically hides from the map to guide riders to other available hubs.
Temporary Closure: We may move or deactivate drop-offs due to city construction, special events, or local maintenance.
Improved Distribution: Our system hides full drop-offs to ensure bikes remain spread out and accessible throughout the entire service area.
🚲 What should I do?
Check the App Map: Look for the nearest alternative drop-off icon.
Navigate to the New Hub: Keep the rental active and proceed to another valid hub to avoid relocation fees.
Temporary Locking: If you plan to continue using the bike soon, you can lock it temporarily while keeping the ride active.
GPS Inaccuracies and Their Impact
Sometimes, a bike may appear slightly outside a drop-off hub on the map even if it was parked correctly. This is often caused by temporary GPS inaccuracies, which are especially common in underground or partially covered parking garages.
As we use your phones GPS, please check if you have high accuracy enabled and if you are not in battery saver mode (or are using any VPN apps).
We will later double-check the bike’s actual location to verify whether the displacement was simply a GPS issue, before we charge any potential penalty. In underground parking areas, a photo of the locked bike when ending your rental is often required. This photo serves as proof that the bike was dropped off in the correct location if the GPS plays up.
