We offer specialized student memberships designed to make city commuting affordable and stress-free for students, exchange participants, and anyone attending university courses.
Currently, all discounted student memberships are email domain-based, meaning you can unlock your special rates instantly just by using your official school email address!

📲 How to Unlock Your Student Discount
Getting your student rate is quick and automatic. Just follow these steps:
Sign Up with School Email: Create or update your Donkey Republic account using your official university email address (e.g., your [email protected]).
Open the App: Open your Donkey Republic app and navigate to Account > Become a member.
Choose Your Plan: If your school's email domain is on our list, your discounted student plan will automatically appear under the membership tab and you can sign up for it.
⚠️ Common Troubleshooting
I logged in with my student email, but I don't see the discount plan. What should I do?
Double-check the spelling: Ensure there are no typos in your email address or domain.
Verify your school's inclusion: While we are constantly expanding, not every single school domain may be active yet. You can view the full, up-to-date list of approved schools and cities directly on our Donkey Republic Student Page.
My university or city isn't on the list yet. Can I still request a discount?
We are always working to bring more campuses and regions into the Donkey fold. If your school or city is missing, you can formally request to add them by filling out our Student Discount Request Form.
I need to change my account email to my student email. How do I do that?
Easy! Head over to your app, go to your profile, and update your email address there. Once updated, you will be able to see new memberships for this school under the membership tab.
