1. Press the option “return” on the bike card, then select “end rental” and “proceed”
2. The app will then ask you where the bike is. Select “Pin bike location” and drag the map to choose the bike location. If you have locked the bike through the app and internet connection the last time you locked it, you will be also able to see its last lock connection position (marked as black icon with a lock inside). Once you have positioned the correct location on the map press “Submit Location”.
You will be then faced with two different scenarios depending on whether your bike is parked at a drop off location or not.
1st SCENARIO: Your bike is at a drop off location and you mark the exact drop off location spot.
1. After you submit the location, the app will try to connect to the bike lock but it will fail. You will have to then press the option “Try Again”
2. You will be then shown a screen where the app will notify you that you are ending the rental without the lock connection. Press “End anyway” if you wish to continue with the process.
2nd SCENARIO: Your bike is not at a drop off location and you mark on the map where it is.
1. Our service requests the rider to bring back the bike to one of our drop off locations. In case the bike is left outside of a drop off location, our mechanics will have to relocate it and, due to this, there will be a relocation fee for you of 5€. If you want to leave the bike outside of the drop off location press: “End anyway”.
2. After you click “End anyway”, the app will try to connect to the bike lock but it will fail. You will have to then press the option “Try Again”
3. You will be then shown a screen where the app will notify you that you are ending the rental without the lock connection. Press “End anyway” if you wish to continue with the process.
