As there is no unique approach that fits every city, based on our learnings we have developed a set of best practices that partners should follow in order to develop the business and get more and more customers.
That being said, it is important to know that most of your customers will be visitors (tourists or business travelers) and since our system is built around the logic that the bikes need to be returned to the hub, think strategically and place hubs at locations where people have to return to. Thus, Central train/bus stations, hotels/hostels, Tourist info centers are the first locations you should scout and then try to secure.
On the same line, for example, cooperation or affiliations with local Airbnb and Couchsurfing hosts can also be very valuable and they usually are interested in providing their guest an additional service cost-free for them.
In general, it is very important to secure good locations and/or develop good affiliations with businesses that have attractive locations around the town or have good synergies with what we do.
